How Mim Product collects and uses your information for accounts, quotes, orders and support.
1. Purpose of this notice
By creating an account, signing in, requesting a quotation, or ordering from Mim Product, you agree that we may process the personal and business information described below to operate our catalogue, quotations, orders, delivery, billing, and customer support for customers in and to your area, Morocco.
2. Who we are
Mim Product is the controller of the data processed through this website and related services (shop, customer portal, and admin operations). We act as a food and supplies distributor serving households and professional buyers.
3. Data we collect
Depending on how you use Mim Product, we may collect: identity and contact details (name, email, phone); account credentials and authentication data (including Google sign-in identifiers if you choose that option); delivery address and delivery instructions; company details for business accounts (company name, business type, tax identifiers when provided); order, quotation, invoice, and payment-status records; messages you send us (support, claims, notes); and technical logs needed for security (session, device/browser signals, IP-related rate-limiting material, and error diagnostics).
4. When and how we use your data
We use this information to: create and secure your account; send sign-in / verification emails; process guest or account orders and arrange delivery; prepare quotations and invoices; record payments and after-sales claims; communicate about your order or quote; prevent fraud and abuse; improve service reliability; and meet accounting and legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Why we process it
Processing is based on: performing a contract or pre-contractual steps (orders, quotes, delivery); your consent where you opt in (for example marketing, if offered later); and legitimate interests / legal duties (security, fraud prevention, bookkeeping, and responding to claims).
6. Who may receive your data
Your data stays with Mim Product staff who need it to serve you. We may share limited data with processors that help us run the service (for example hosting, authentication, email delivery, and storage providers), only as needed to provide Mim Product. We may also disclose information if required by Moroccan law or a competent authority.
7. How long we keep it
We keep account and commercial records for as long as your account is active and as needed for orders, warranties/claims, accounting, and legal retention. Guest order details are kept to fulfil and support the order. Technical logs are kept for a shorter security period.
8. Security
We use access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and server-side protections to reduce unauthorised access. No online service is perfectly secure; please protect your email inbox and passwords.
9. Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or update your account details, and request deletion where legally allowed (some commercial records must be retained). Contact Mim Product using the details on the Contact page. You can also continue browsing and, for eligible shop orders, checkout as a guest with the minimum delivery details required.
10. Guest checkout
If you order without an account, we still need your name, email, phone, and delivery address to fulfil the order and contact you about delivery. Creating an account is optional and helps you track orders and save addresses.
11. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies/session storage for sign-in, language preference, cart contents, and security. These are required for the site to work correctly.
